VICTORIOUS WOMEN MINISTRY
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to focus on the development of Faith, Family and Finances. Through the teaching of Gods word and providing Wholesome Fellowship, Uncompromising Integrity and Excellence we will help women come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, thereby expanding the Kingdom of God in the Earth.
OUR GOALS
Our primary goals are to help and encourage all women to seek a sincere faith through an intimate relationship with God (Deut. 6:5; Psalm 119:2), to know and love the Scriptures (Joshua 1:8; Psalm 119:165, Proverbs 2:6), to handle life’s situations in a biblical manner so that they will have a pure heart and a good conscience (Psalm 119:9-11), and to demonstrate love through serving God and others unselfishly (Deut. 10:20; Gal. 5:13).
Complementing these primary goals, we specifically desire to:
-
Promote Biblical womanhood in the roles to which God has called women as wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, working professionals, students, etc. (Proverbs 31:10-31; Titus 2:3-5; 1 Peter 3:1-4)
-
Teach and encourage married women to love, honor, and obey their husbands, fully supporting them as the head of the home. (Titus 2:4; Ephesians 5:22, 33)
-
Affirm the value of motherhood and the importance of strong families in a culture that often marginalizes these values (Psalm 127:3-5; Psalm 128:3-4; 1 Tim. 2:15)
-
Promote intimate relationships among women (John 13:34-35)
-
Build leaders among our women to minister to women (Titus 2:3)
-
Encourage and equip women to do good works (1 Tim. 2:10; 5:10)
-
Bring help and healing to hurting women (Gal. 6:2; James 5:16)
-
Support and facilitate women in their outreach to unsaved friends, neighbors, and family (Matt. 28:19-20)
-
Support and encourage our missionary women so they can minister to others more effectively (2 Thess. 3:1-2; Phil. 4:10, 15-17)
-
Promote unity, genuine love, and forbearance among women of all ages in the city of Richmond and surrounding area(Eph. 4:1-3)
